Docs / Getting started

Getting started with PipelineIQ.

From company profile to sequencer-ready CSV in six steps.

Overview

PipelineIQ takes a CSV of prospects and scores each one against your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Qualified leads receive a five-message outreach sequence. Low-fit leads get a clear exclusion reason.

The final output exports as a sequencer-ready CSV for a variety of outreach tools like HeyReach, AimFox, Smartlead, Instantly, or Clay.

One Prospect Credit is consumed per lead processed, regardless of whether the lead qualifies. Credits never expire.

CSV requirements

There are no required columns — PipelineIQ scores using your CSV's own column headers, whatever they're named. The columns below give the model the most signal to work with, so scores are more accurate when they're present.

Recommended columns

  • first_name
  • last_name
  • company_name
  • company_website
  • job_title
  • linkedin_url
  • company_size
  • industry
  • location

Note: Files must be UTF-8 encoded and under 4.5 MB.

01

Company profile

PipelineIQ needs to understand your business before it can score leads.

On first use, enter your company website URL. PipelineIQ crawls your homepage and about page, extracts your positioning and target market, and pre-fills a company profile for you to review and adjust.

Your company profile is saved and reused for all future campaigns. You can update it any time from the Company settings page.

02

ICP setup

Your Ideal Customer Profile defines how leads are scored.

Based on your company profile, PipelineIQ proposes 5 to 10 scoring categories, such as company size, industry fit, role seniority, and technology signals. Each category includes a suggested weight.

Review each category, adjust the weights to match your actual sales experience, and save your ICP. Your ICP is saved per company and reused across campaigns.

03

Upload your list

Create a new campaign and upload your prospect CSV.

PipelineIQ scores using your CSV's own column headers — no mapping step required.

04

Review scores

Each prospect receives an overall fit score from 0.0 to 10.0, plus a 0–10 breakdown per ICP category with a one-sentence justification per category.

Qualified leads (Strong, Good, or Borderline) also surface a Likely Pain Point and a Suggested Solution Angle — the outreach hook to lead with on a first message, grounded in the lead’s role, industry, scale, and signals. No generic filler.

Prospects below your ICP threshold (Weak or Exclude) are flagged as low-fit with an exclusion reason and do not receive sequences. You still see the per-category breakdown so you can audit why.

Coming soon: after scoring completes you’ll see an on-screen breakdown of how many leads landed in each tier (Strong / Good / Borderline / Weak / Exclude) and be able to download a PDF report of the same summary to share with your team.

05

Generate sequences

For each qualified prospect, PipelineIQ generates a five-message outreach sequence personalized to that lead’s profile and score signals.

Messages reference specific details from the prospect’s company and role, not generic placeholders.

Generation happens in bulk. For larger lists, a progress log shows real-time status per lead.

06

Export and send

Export your scored and sequenced list as a CSV.

The format is pre-mapped for direct import into the most common outreach tools.
